History & Pics

The Greater Moncton Santa Claus Parade was established by a group of like-minded volunteers
from the community in 1967 who wished to establish a Santa Claus Parade for Greater Moncton.
Over the years the parade has continued to grow.
The parade is held each year on the last Saturday in November at 6pm.
Each year over 100,000 spectators line the streets of Moncton and Dieppe to watch the parade.

The parade features over 100 entries each year and has become the largest parade in Atlantic Canada.
Although the parade has continued to evolve and expand over the last 40 years it is still organized by a
committee of volunteers and receives donations from local businesses, individuals, and municipalities
